Why does Global Option Suck in 50 Words
GlobalOption recently updated its website but to be honest, I think it looks more like a social network than a financial institution. That’s the first feeling I get from their homepage, but when I went deeper, I realized the website is organized better than before. There are very few trading options, not to mention trading tools. Compared to other platforms, GlobalOption’s trading platform is a bit lacking.

Why GlobalOption doesn’t Suck in 50 Words
From my experience, GlobalOption’s trading platform represents the beginning of Binary Options. Simple call/put options with fine returns, only a very simple strategy are required. Beginners might enjoy learning to trade on that kind of platform, but they can also learn it in many other places. Global Option recently added a Trader Insight tool which can be very useful to new traders.
Global Option Full Review- Going Forward
Global Option is operated by WGM Services Ltd since 2010. Global Option is based on the EzTrader platform which is 100% web-based so there’s no need for any software to be downloaded. The new homepage is pretty well organized, but maybe it focuses a little too much on advertising their new mobile app “GOMobile”.
The asset categories available to trade are shown in the Trading area, but they will be shown only after you click on the one you would like to trade. The different groups include currencies, commodities, indices, EU-US-Asia stocks, and long-term assets. It took me a while to understand and to find exactly the asset I want to trade, but overall it seems like a nice idea that could be easier to use with some slight adjustments. Why does Global Option Suck? Because it has nothing real to offer to a trader, beginner or expert, young or old, risk-averse or hungry to trade. Absolutely nothing. I can’t really recommend Global Option to any type of trader. From the first look at the asset list, I couldn’t find any charts and history. The only way to view some details about the asset is to press the ticker symbol and then you’ll see the Yahoo Finance information about the asset. That’s totally uncomfortable and unprofessional.
In the past, they lacked a Live News feed but they fixed that and show one in the Trading Area. Although they offer a daily market review, I don’t find it helpful because I can’t trade in the past, only in the present or future. The glossary is fairly unsatisfying also. Fortunately, they changed the way the FAQ works and made it a lot more normal. Before the update, every click on a question linked the viewer to another page, and if you wanted to go back to the questions area you had to hit backspace (such an unnecessary link). It was bothering and time-consuming.
Is GlobalOption a Scam?
I finished the last paragraph talking about issues that are usually linked with learning Binary Options. So I want to start this paragraph with dismay: Global Option’s tutorial sucks. I don’t know if the worst I have seen, because I’ve seen some bad tutorials, but this one is certainly the top 3 worst ever. Their tutorial is basically a short article with too few explanations about trading and some simple pictures, nothing more. Their first tutorial was very bad and I thought that after the update they will come up with something better. That isn’t the case. Forget about learning Binary Options with Global Option.
Before the update, they looked suspicious, to be honest, and their new website doesn’t lift all that suspicion. They don’t offer any real, usable information, just a lot of talking about profiting big time. We want statistics and information so we can make a calculated investment. Global Option doesn’t give traders what they need, and that’s really the best I can say about them.

Global Option Complaints
ThatSucks.com (former BinaryOptionsThatSuck.com) always recommends potential traders perform a simple background check before depositing. It’s simple, just type broker name and complaints, scam, alerts, etc. Search for any comments and try to learn from them. We searched for GlobalOption complaints and here is what we found – We found one very bothering complaint in a few forums, some people a warning about a potential GlobalOption scam. It could be their competitors, but worth checking.
GlobalOption Bonus
Bonus is quite big at GlobalOption, up to 50% bonus for the initial deposit. However, the wager for the bonus is fair: 25 times the bonus amount. The drawback is that the trading volume must be reached within 90 days.
GlobalOption Withdrawal
When it comes to withdrawal, most review sites just don’t talk about it. Bots.com always checks out withdrawal restrictions. The withdrawal policy at GlobalOption is a little blur, we couldn’t find sufficient info. Check it out before depositing.
Global Option Ratings
User Friendly 10/20
Global Option is a 100% web-based EZTrader platform, so there’s no need for software to be downloaded to the PC. The trading area is the site’s landing page; the design is clean and organized. The downside is the lack of information about assets, which simply doesn’t exist. The glossary and FAQ aren’t welcoming, and the tutorial one word is- lame. Oh and, only English, please.
No. of Assets and Expiry time 15/20
Total of 90 Assets: 57 stocks, 10 currency pairs, 4 commodities, 19 indices. Global Option variety of assets is above average and sufficient. They offer “Long term” options but the whole thing is pretty confusing so we really recommend getting used to their platform before investing
Commissions, Support, and Effective return 15/20
Global Option Don’t charge any fees or commissions from investors when they first deposit or purchase options. Global Option support is available via 2 international numbers in the USA and UK (Only English), call back, or via email. The live chat service was a bit slow but polite, available 24/7. The effective return is among the average in the industry with 70%-95% In-The-Money return for most assets, while the Out-of-Money refund is between 0-10%
Deposit, Payment, and Bonus 13/20
Global Option Minimum deposit is average – 200$. Deposit is available via C.C. or Moneybookers. Withdrawals are not limited to a minimum withdrawal. Withdrawals are generally available via C.C, Moneybookers, or wire transfer. Global Option offers a bonus of up to 35% for a 700$ deposit, but only a 14% bonus for 500$, which is usually the minimum bonus.
Website Extra’s 9/20
Global Option doesn’t really have any special or extra feature, except maybe the Trader Insight tool in the upper right corner of the Trading Area, which shows how most investors trade (Call/Put percentage), but that’s about it.
Global Option Ratings: 61/100
