Full Review of BigOption Binary Options Education Material for Traders
Visiting BigOption’s website you quickly get the impression of a broker that wants to compete with the other big firms out there. Guess that’s why they chose the name BigOption and why they say “Big is not only part of our name, we play big…” I found BigOption good when it came to getting plenty of information directly on the website without the need of contacting support or registering as a client. I was also satisfied that the website was working properly despite the scheduled server maintenance at the time of my review. Is BigOption’s education center worth spending time on, or is it just another one of those “we focus on you but we are too lazy to make an effort to teach you something”?
BigOption, Big Enough to Educate Traders?
You will find the education tab directly on the top menu where there are various links to choose from. The blog is the first tab and leads to quite big area, no pun intended, with loads of material.
In this section the popular posts are at display, I found a detailed explanation on their strategy adviser which is a new and exciting tool that helps traders find trends and trade setups. The second post on display is a full and interesting article about how to trade EUR/USD with references to Investopedia.com that I agree is a reliable and informative source for us traders. Before I go on, I have to admit that this section is really huge! There are many articles here that are worth reading. Now you get an idea about why they are called BigOption!
Next is the “the beginners’ guide to market analysis” – where fundamental and technical analysis are explained, illustrations included. You can also find more detailed articles on risk management, what binary options are, ten points to consider and fundamental analysis for various pairs, news interpretations and many many more. In the blog, choose the tab “Watch list” to view which news are about to be released and learn their importance. The meaning of some of the big events are also well explained, like Nonfarm Payroll to name one. They also have a video section for when you get tired of reading. They range from how to use the platform to basic strategy and more. You will also find their e-book here but its just the same stuff as on the website, but no videos.
Additional resources include the Daily & Weekly Market Review. This is yet another section where fundamentals are shared through smaller posts and news clips on an as-they-happen basis, pretty cool. For the more news-hungry fundamental traders, the trader’s corner is the place to hang out. An analyst posts his forecasts and gives trading tips on whether you should take a Call or Put depending on how the news come out. BigOption did not forget about the technical traders though, on the same page as above, you can choose trading strategies and study through a collection of interesting ones including MACD strategy, Keltner Channels indicator, Bollinger bands and others.
Big Content & Lots To Offer!
The BigOption education center does not leave much to be desired. It certainly is a big and informative source of education, for beginners as well as advanced traders. Obviously, a big education center is no good if the content isn’t offering any value and there is big value here as well. BigOption takes care of that by offering a big variety of important articles through several different feeds providing current events and ongoing education. They really did make an effort to stick out and above and they have succeeded. Videos, e-books, articles and more articles, illustrative pictures, strategies and signal tips all scream that BigOption is not just another lazy firm. What’s even better is the fact that you don’t need to register to access this complete education center! So to answer my own question; yes, BigOption’s education is definitely worth your time.
